Alkaline Diet Recipes Revealed

Monday, February 8th, 2010
Peter Patterson asked:

The goal of the Alkaline Diet is to bring our bodies back to a natural pH. The Alkaline diet established the normal pH of earlier generations when meals contained recipes of fresh fruit, vegetables, roots, tubers, nuts and legumes. As time progressed, the consumption of acidic food increased with the addition of grains, milk, cheese, salt, sugar and the consumption of meat.

By increasing PH levels, people claim increased energy, better respiratory health, improved gastric functions and fewer colds, flu and allergies, due to strengthened immunities. Fewer cysts are formed especially within the reproductive system.

It’s be shown that higher PH levels result in fewer mood swings, headaches, anxiety, nervousness and irritability. The loss of weight also occurs effortlessly.

One’s health can improve by eating more fresh fruits, vegetables, potatoes, nuts and legumes. Additionally meals should contain 50% vegetables, 25% starch, i.e. rice, pasta, potatoes, 25% meat. Eating salads before meals can help curb the appetite.

There’s one huge myth! Some say that Alkaline diets are hard to follow. They saw that tasty food choices are highly restricted and foods one enjoys are not permissible. Not True!
