Does eating Lean Cuisines, South Beach Diet meals, and ONLY drinking water really work in loose weight?

I am really trying to loose weight (about 20 lbs), so i am starting to only eat Lean Cuisine meals and South Beach Diet meals along with only drinking water. So should this really help. I am also working out!

Yes.. The drinking water (8 COLD 16 oz glasses a day) will drop weight by itself by reducing coloric intake, burning calories from your body bringing the water from around 35- 40° to 98.6° body temperature, and the water helping to flush out foods faster than normal so your body doesn’t asorb as much from it. HOWEVER, it also washes out minerals and vitamins your body DOES need, so a miltivitamin (one a day stuff) is your best bet to keep from feeling drained or even getting sick.
The meals are LOW calorie and also help… you can also try replacing a meal with something like Slim Fast AND a low calorie snack. (Drinks alone seem to leave a person hungry a lot of the time – missing the chewing feeling I guess)

Yes this will help you. I have and am still doing South Beach with Atkins and I have lost over 80 pounds in 7 months.

It will work, only because those meals tend to be 250-400 calories. (you can create surprisingly good and filling meals in this same calorie range) You can accomplish the same weight loss by counting calories. Lots of water is a must, and great that you’re working out! be sure to check the nutritional content of any frozen meal, often they’re low in fat and calories and super high in sodium.

It should if you do not eat too many of the meals a day. Sounds like your on the right path.

last year i would run a mile a day and eat a lean cuisine. i lost 30 lbs in a couple of months. ***** that i gained it all back though. but its good for quick weight loss, not nessesarily keeping it off. man if i could only go back to those days…… crap!

Be aware, Lean Cuisine meals have a lot of salt in them, salt causes fluid retention so you may not see accurate weights on a daily basis. The key to weight loss is to consume fewer calories than you expend. If you eat, say six or seven Lean Cuisines a day, you aren’t going to lose an ounce, each one having between 850 and 1200 calories in it. Use one occasionally for a meal, and stick closely to the south beach diet, and you will likely lose weight.

It would help but you also need to include exercise into that mix. Eating alone will only help a little (unless you have a full time dietitian that can prepare your meals to your exact body type). Walking, swimming, yoga are a few good things to increase cardio which is needed to burn fat. Once you’ve lost the weight just maintain with lighter versions of what you’re doing. Hope that helps. Yes, but those are processed foods. It’s better to portion control on your own and eat fresh unprocessed foods. It’s better for your body.

Yes! They’re great for portion control. But I would recommed limiting them to one or two a day because they cause constipation. Also, in my experience WEight Watchers Smart Ones taste way better and are usually lower in calories. For breakfast, have a yogurt with frozen berries or oatmeal (plain or no sugar added). I lost about 25 pounds doing that.

Um I know that if you trade in a 24 oz of soda for a 16 oz or more of water a day, you will lose 25lbs. or more a year.

It helps. You also need to excercise some though. Walking 1 mile burn 100 calories. Just go for a brisk walk every day.

To lose weight, a person has to reduce the calorie intake by some amount by modifying their diet. A diet without sufficient nutrients will only increase the appetite of the person trying to lose weight. Since most people combine a diet with an exercise plan, additional nutrients are required for the growth of muscles required to increase the metabolic rate required for long term weight loss.
