The *Only* way to lose weight is to consistently supply your body with less calories (through diet and exercise) than it needs to function on a daily basis. A trainer at a local gym, a doctor, or a nutritionist can calculate this number for you (it depends on a number of factors- age, height, weight, activity level).
There are 3500 calories in 1lb of fat. Since most people’s daily caloric needs are far less than 3500 calories, you will need to cut this from your diet in a gradual way- say, 300-500 calories less per day, without dipping below 1200 calories. For example, let’s say it is determined that you need 2500 calories a day just to maintain your current weight (see above). To lose weight, you would need to consume 2000 calories a day. Your body will need to get that 500 calories from someplace- and it will get it from burning your body fat. Let’s say you do this for 7 days….you will have lost 1lb (500 calories x 7 days= 3500 calories).

In the Bible, Daniel goes on a diet of nothing but fruits and veggies. They say after ten days he looked healthier than everybody else. You can read this in the Book of Daniel in the Bible.
What a Pastor friend of mine did was drink only water for 3 days, then the next 7 days only fruits and veggies.
You don’t need to eat diet meals. You need to burn more calories than you bring in.

Like the others have said, it’s a very simple math issue, burn more calories than you consume and you should get rid of the excess weight. Pay attention to what you are drinking as well as eating….lots of hidden calories in drinks. Also, you may need to change the type or intensity of your exercises. Also, building muscle helps to boost your metabolism, the more muscle you have, the more energy your body burns just simply sitting….so go lift some weights!

Im a personal trainer and this is the best advice i can give u. Keep off the diet meals becuase those companies main priority is to make money, and the longer u are buying the meals the more money they will make, so they try and keep u on buying there products as long as posible. For my clients i always tell them the best way to loose weight is to eat healthy food, such as vegetables, pastas, fruit, cereals and always eat more vegetables than fruit becuase fruit contains natural sugars which if taken in increased supply can add to the weight of a individual. Continue eating meat, but cut off the fat. DONT EAT PROCESSED FOODS, they contain complex sugars which are the biggest factor to weight gain. Foods with simple sugars are best. CONTINUE EXCERISING, go at a rate ure comfortable at the moment, then build up the rate of physical activity gradually. IF U DONT LOOSE WEIGHT IMMEDIENTLY DONT PANIC, just be patient, i gurentee u will see the pounds just fly off. GOOD LUCK

trust me…dont diet. Eat normal and a lot of fibre and protein… eat whenever you feel hungry, and do moderate excercise/stretching. I lost weight doing this. When i used to diet and do 3-4 hours cardio everyday, i didnt lose a pound… if i did, it was just waterweight.
