But I've heard diet coke is far more cancerous than normal coke, because of some additional "ingredients" into the drink to make it less fattening. A very cool way to die, I'll say. When at home I drink water, coffee, milk, and green tea. But I think the reason some people drink diet soda is because they don't want to drink their calories. It used to confuse me to no end but recently I've found out that 1. Diet coke or Dr. Pepper tastes better to them (NutraSweet is more sugery flavored). and 2. It boggled me too. i guess it doesn't work. I've had people tell me it damages the metabolism too even though it has fewer calories the sugars are harsh to digest.
