    Not necessarily true. The body only begins to burn fat after the aeriobic energy phase of the workout has been active for approximately over 20 minutes. So yes, if you have the stamina to do that weight exercise for 20+ minutes…fat burn begins.

    NOTE: Increased muscle mass = Increased metabolic rate :)

    You typically want to breathe out when you move a specific weight, so when you lift and row or whatever you need to exhale, when you pause and let the weight go back to its starting position you breathe in. This will allow for optimal oxygen supply to your muscles, and will minimize frantic pulse. Good luck.
